Buying Blackbar grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the application for the 1.x version line on up to three devices that you own or control, on macOS, Windows or Linux. Each device is activated once at getblackbar.com/activate; you can move an activation to a new device at getblackbar.com/devices, a limited number of times per year. You may not resell, redistribute, or share your license file publicly.
Blackbar is free to open, detect and redact, with no time limit. A licence unlocks exporting — saving and copying the redacted image. You never lose access to your own files.
Purchases are a one-time payment of $19 (plus any applicable tax), processed by Stripe. Prices may change for future versions.
Because the app is free to use and evaluate before purchase, with no time limit, we generally do not offer refunds. If Blackbar does not work as described on a supported system, contact support within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you.
Blackbar is provided “as is”. While it is designed and tested to destroy redacted pixels irreversibly, you are responsible for reviewing each export before sharing it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the software.
